Rosa’s Cafe and Tortilla Factory is a good place to find appetizing gluten-free options for a quick meal. Recently having stopped at the location on I-40 in Amarillo, I was pleasantly surprised to find many good gluten-free selections available. Rosa’s is a very affordable and fast-paced restaurant with a busy drive-thru and quick friendly service inside.
Their homemade tamales are delicious and made without gluten. Their queso is also very good. Yes, I like to combine them! While the chips are gluten-free, there is the possibility for cross-contamination if you are very sensitive, due to potentially being fried in the same oil as their sopapillas. Their salads can be ordered without the chips or taco bowl. The fact that they use lots of fresh produce really helps to make selections easier, when avoiding gluten.
